THE MUST HAVE BBQ RECIPE

With sweltering heats repeated today, it’s definitely feeling like BBQ weather! I have a super quick and easy Tandoori Kebab recipe, well I say “recipe” It has THREE, yes THREE ingredients! Combining my two favs, BBQ’s & Indian food, this “recipe” is a must! Also this is great if you’re trying to perfect your summer bod. you could definitely replace your takeaways with this fakeaway recipe! You won’t feel guilty at all!

So you will need:

  • Plain Greek yogurt – any kind, I use Sainsbury’s own 0% fat yogurt

  • Any meat you prefer - I use chicken, you could use Fish, Beef, Pork or Lamb!

  • The final ingredient is Natco Tandoori Masala spice blend

I don’t like spicy foods at all, so this recipe is great for adjusting spicy levels easily, if you want more heat you just add more of the spice blend if you want less add more yogurt. The Tandoori Masala spice blend makes chicken so flavoursome and very juicy!

All you need to do is dice your chosen meat or for fish I would leave in serving portions instead of cubes. Place into a bowl, add 1 part Tandoori Masala spice blend with 10 parts yogurt, mix well and marinate in the fridge for a few hours. I place my cubed chicken onto stainless steel kebab sticks and rest them on an oven proof tray! Pour over the rest of the marinade over the kebabs, place in the oven for around 30 mins depending on how much meat you cook.

Just to be sure, I check with the biggest piece of chicken I can find, cut it open and make sure its 100% cooked! If you were cooking fish you could just place the fish into an oven proof cooking dish or tray and cook till the fish is ready.

This recipe is ridiculously easy and reasonably healthy, great as part of a hearty meal or with a quick side salad or a wrap! Try this at your next BBQ or just for yourself, you won’t regret it!
