Earlier this week I stumbled upon what must be the most creative library in the world! You will find this spot over the pond in Brooklyn. To be exact, the Brooklyn Art Library which is home to the perfectly named Sketchbook Project.

Artist can draw, write, collage, cut, print, photograph; their website sums it up perfectly by saying 'it starts with an idea'. There's definitely been plenty of ideas, the project has over 36,000 books from artists all around the world. The project started back in 2006 in Atlanta but moved to New York in 2009. In the new space, you won't just find this amazing collection of sketch books but also events and working spaces.

What an amazing project right? If you are feeling inspired, you can even sign up! For a small fee you can get your very own sketchbook and you have a whole 10 months to create your masterpiece for the library.

So you can get a better feel for this project I have found a few different sketchbooks below that I found really amazing! Want to find out more? Click to find more about the project and also their social media links.
